we had a great stay at Grand Hilton Head Inn, Ascend Hotel Collection. the room was really large and had many new features. the renovated portions looked good and the location was perfect! the front end staff was extremely polite, and check-in literally took 2 minutes. We also enjoyed the excellent food at the Plantation Cafe, where they provide breakfast vouchers.

Short walk to beach, nearby dining/shopping, clean rooms, comfortable bed, beach access. No carpet in rooms.
Felt privileged, no complaints at all.
